The macOS beta is a notarized direct download (macOS 15 or later) — unzip and drag to Applications. The iOS beta link goes live once Apple approves the build.

In the apps

native: Built in SwiftUI for iOS and macOS — no web views, no Electron.
autofill: System AutoFill on both platforms, with passkey sign-in and creation.
safari: A Safari extension on iPhone that fills logins, identities, and cards.
menubar: Mac menu bar quick access: search logins, copy codes, generate passwords.
codes: One-time codes (TOTP), scanned from QR or filled automatically.
items: Logins, secure notes, cards, and identities — viewing and editing.
offline: Unlock with Face ID or Touch ID and read your vault with no connection.
generator: Password and passphrase generator, everywhere you need one.
export: Vault backup export in the Bitwarden® JSON format (Mac, more to come).
yours: Your data syncs with your server and lives on your devices. Nowhere else.

Before you join

What you'll need

An account on your own Vaultwarden server, or another server that implements the Bitwarden® API.
Your account must use PBKDF2 key derivation (Vaultwarden's default) and must not require two-factor login — Argon2id and login 2FA aren't supported yet.
iOS 17 or later, or macOS 15 or later.
